We are looking for a senior communications officer for external communications
You will join our communications team of seven specialists in Denmark and one in Poland, working digitally across borders, covering external, internal and customer communications as well as employer branding. You will be based in Roskilde, reporting to Area Director of Communications Jens Møller Nielsen.
You will be the primary responsible for our external communications, including press relations, annual report, and parts of our communications to our customers. As part of a small, helpful team, you will also often have responsibilities within employer branding and internal communications.
You will take a key position in unfolding the story about our cooperatively owned company undergoing fast evolution with a new CEO, new name, new visual identity, and new strategy focusing on our customers’ growth, efficiency, and compliance through financial technologies.
In general, you will be able to work within normal business hours, although there will also be planned and unplanned peak periods, and you will be on call for occasional incident and crisis communications, together with the area director.
We strive for a flexible work-life balance with good possibilities for working from home 1-2 days most weeks.
Primary tasks and responsibilities

You have a degree in journalism, communication, tech, or finance. You are also a very experienced communicator with a good understanding of tech, banking, or finance. You probably have more than five years of experience in communications/journalism.
Curiosity is essential, and at bec you'll join a community of helpful, ambitious, and tech-savvy people who love to explore and grow. In this position, you will probably experience a steep learning curve, as you will quickly need to understand and explain our business in our annual report and other communications products.

- Advising our top management and others on external communications
- Writing and project managing our annual report
- Advising on and producing communications products to our customers
- Incident and crisis communications
- Supporting employer branding on social media and elsewhere
- Depending on your skills and the rest of the team, you may also become involved in or responsible for our website, visual identity, customer extranet, internal communications and more
