Do you want to join an international marketing team and help shape the branding of one of the world’s most iconic loudspeaker manufacturers?

Dynaudio, the legendary Danish speaker-maker, is looking for a new Global Marketing Manager for our hi-fi segment, based at our HQ in Skanderborg.

About the job As our new Global Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for designing and executing marketing and branding strategies for our products in the hi-fi segment.

You’ll join our global marketing team of six experienced and dedicated colleagues, as well as a network of marketing professionals located around the world. Together we’re responsible for the global marketing effort for one of the world’s largest loudspeaker manufactures. The team plays a key role in fulfilling the company strategy of long-term growth. We define go-to-market value propositions, new launches, campaigns and support to global sales teams.

The Global Marketing Manager is accountable for planning and delivering the strategic marketing approach - including marketing and communication campaigns and programs globally, creating a measurable sales impact.

The role further contains responsibility for developing the marketing strategy and communication for new and existing products within the hi-fi segment, as well as P&L responsibility for the hi-fi segment marketing budget.

You will work closely with colleagues in R&D, Product Management, Industrial Design and Sales to ensure we position and strengthen our brand within the global premium loudspeaker segment.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering a marketing roadmap that will accelerate business with existing partners
  • Developing the global marketing strategy and plan for the hi-fi segment
  • Executing the global marketing strategy by translating defined objectives into effective marketing programs that delivers on KPIs
  • Defining clear KPIs for campaigns - and measuring results
  • Continuously analysing competitive environment and consumer trends
  • Creating and publishing of all marketing material in line with marketing plans
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns

  • Working closely with the Product Management team to define marketing materials and programs
  • Creating a collaborative environment with departments across the organization to create buy-in for marketing programs
  • Continuous dialogue with regional sales and marketing teams on upcoming campaigns, and follow-up on active/executed campaigns, plus co-ordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities
  • Continuous sales tracking from all regions

About the department

We’re a team of six dedicated colleagues in Denmark. With 3 nationalities, our workday is characterised as busy and challenging, but there’s always time for jokes, cakes and coffee during the day. We support each other well, having different backgrounds and various key competencies within content creation, consumer and trade marketing, digital, SEO, SEM, graphic design and project management.

About you

You probably have 3-5 years of experience in marketing/brand management from FMCG, consumer electronics or premium consumer brands, where you’ve proven yourself as a marketing- or brand-manager. You possess in-depth knowledge of brand understanding, positioning and purpose.

You also have commercial acumen, with the ability to prioritise marketing initiatives that drive profitable growth.

As a person, you’re characterised by your independent drive and your proven ability to execute marketing campaigns, as well as your constant focus on delivering value to customers and consumers.

You have superb analytical skills and a data-driven approach to completing your work tasks. You use your excellent communication skills to create lasting working relationships inside the marketing team, as well as with other colleagues in the organisation.

On top of this you have:

  • Experience working globally, and are interculturally aware
  • Some experience with budgeting and P&L
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with creative teams
  • Experience working in an international company with matrix structures and interaction between the regional and international units

You’re well-versed in applications such as MS Office, with excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

English is our main company language, so you will need to be comfortably fluent in both writing and speaking it too.
