Dynaudio focuses intensely on our Automotive segment to connect new customers and consumers to our world-class sound systems. To meet this ambition, we’re looking for a new Global Marketing Manager, who - ideally - is both a strategic marketing wiz and a car aficionado.

Working in global marketing we don’t require you to be a ‘human handshake’ nor to take all the ‘airtime’ at the lunch table. Rather, we expect you to build strong cross-cultural relations based on good spirit, trust and the ability to transform good ideas into great actions. Actions that bring awareness to Dynaudio as a brand and to our high-end products.

The Global Marketing Manager is therefore a key role in our effort to strengthen our position in the global automotive-audio market - both in terms of pre- and aftermarket installed.

That means that every day 300 employees in Dynaudio worldwide work together to create incredible loudspeakers for homes, professional studios and custom-install set-ups as well as just as extraordinary sound systems for cars.

Your mission

As our new Global Marketing Manager your mission is to make sure we understand our global consumer targets’ habits and interests and that they simultaneously know what we do, why and how we do it as well as why they should buy Dynaudio products.

The Global Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and delivering the strategic marketing approach incl. marketing and communication campaigns and programs globally, as well as creating a measurable sales impact.

Your primary tasks include:

  • Delivering marketing roadmap
  • Supporting effort of signing new partnerships across the auto industry
  • Developing marketing strategy and plan for the auto segment
  • Executing on global marketing strategy by translating defined objectives into effective marketing programs that delivers on KPIs
  • Defining clear KPIs for campaigns
  • Undertaking continuous analysis of competitive environment and customer/consumer trends
  • Creating and publishing all marketing material in line with marketing plans
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns
  • Generating consumer insights
  • Tracking sales from all regions.

The position does not hold any people management.

Your colleagues

We’re a team of 12 dedicated colleagues, 10 in Denmark (at HQ) and 2 in Germany. With 6 nationalities, our workday is characterised as busy and challenging, but there’s always time for jokes, cakes and coffee during the day. We support each other well, having different backgrounds and various key competencies within content creation, consumer and trade marketing, digital, SEO, SEM, graphic design and project management.

We work from home from time to time, and you’ll be able to do so too depending on the marketing events and activities. As a Marketing Manager for our global market, you’ll also be working abroad on occasion. We estimate 10-20 traveling days per year.

You can be based at our HQ in Skanderborg, or at our new office in Kgs. Lyngby. Regardless of your primary work base, you should expect some travelling between the Danish offices each month.

Besides your colleagues in Marketing, you’ll work closely with colleagues from Product Management, Business Development and Research & Development (R&D) specifically focused on our Automotive business. All of you align and combine resources for the common goal, and here, you’ll be an important liaison between departments in order to maintain and develop our marketing profile/position.

Your immediate manager will be our Director of Marketing.

You: the right candidate

Ideally, you have at least 5 years of demonstrated experience with marketing and brand management from a position with decision making authority.

You have a commercial mindset and business acumen in combination with a go-getter attitude that translates into ‘confidence’ but ‘approachability’. There’s a fine line between pushing people away and drawing them in with your charisma and skills. You nail that balance to be the best possible ambassador for Dynaudio globally.

Other than that, we’re looking for a new colleague who

  • Asks the right questions in order to give the right answers
  • Embodies our values and goal plus wants to be a standard bearer
  • Can perform with tight deadlines and flexible work hours.

Experience from a similar position in either the automotive industry or with premium consumer goods or FMCG industries is an advantage.

English is our main company language, so you’ll need full professional proficiency. If you have professional German or Chinese proficiencies, it’s a big plus.
