Smørum


Are you a video journalist or a communication specialist with a fondness for creating video content and editing internal channels? Would you like to be part of a global hearing healthcare and audio technology group with more than 20,000 colleagues as your target audience? Then we might have the ideal job for you.

As our new internal communication specialist, you will build a strategy for all our internal channels, primarily a Sharepoint-based intranet, townhalls and Workplace. You will also be the editorial responsible of the channels while ensuring the optimal use and worldwide implementation. Moreover, you will produce video content for broad international internal and external use.

The role includes day-to-day management and maintenance of the different channels but also a more long-term and strategic view on our channel mix and landscape in the Group. Furthermore, you will be recording short, documentary style videos with leaders, at events or as news stories about Demant or one of our many brands, which also includes editing for use on external and internal channels.

You will be working at Demant’s headquarter in our Corporate Communication and Sustainability team. It is an engaged and highly skilled team where we work close to the executive board, but in an informal setting with a good portion of humor and team spirit. You will be part of a creative, international, and diverse work environment with many colleagues.

Manage channel strategy and ensure content production

You will be working with the following tasks to drive and support our internal channels of communication.

Strategic channel development and content production:

  • Management of all internal channels, including townhall meetings, intranet, site screens and Workplace
  • Strategic development of the Group’s intranet, including further implementation globally. This includes ongoing collaboration with colleagues from IT where daily management of the intranet is coordinated
  • The role also includes being the editor of our Global News channel on the intranet where we post articles and videos for thousands of employees
  • Promote engagement on the Group’s internal channels across regions
  • With an omnichannel perspective, scoping and preparing video interviews or short stories with different leaders and employees around various events and occasions
  • Filming, including conducting interviews and b-roll footage
  • Editing the videos in Adobe Premiere Pro and posting on relevant channels
  • Being updated on our internal target audience, address them with relevant content and stay up to date on new technology, formats and trends within video content creation.


About you

  • You have a background as video journalist, channel editor, communication content producer, communication advisor with production experience or similar.
  • You have some years of experience working with editing channels, video and content production for a variety of channels in a large company, organisation or news desk.
  • You can create a storyboard and is an expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and perhaps skilled in After Effects.
  • You are creative and know your way around storytelling.
  • You can plan several ongoing projects without losing focus on the aesthetics or the details.
  • As we are a global organisation, we expect that you can communicate effortlessly in English.
