The position
We are looking for a student with flair for internal, external, and political communication – and ideal opportunity to gain solid experience across different communication disciplines. You take care of day-to-day routine tasks with a smile, but you are also capable of handling larger assignments and projects on your own. We are looking for a person who writes fluently in both Danish and English. We expect that you will be able to work approximately 15 hours per week, depending on tasks and peak periods.

We expect you to be an active and supporting part on different communication and public affairs tasks – and to offer a helping hand with marketing tasks from time to time. Examples of specific tasks could be:

Bear in mind that candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance by the Danish Defence Intelligence Service. This entails candidates to, as a minimum, have stayed within NATO/EU for the last 7 years only interrupted by short stays abroad.

Your tasks
We expect you to be an active and supporting part on different communication and public affairs tasks – and to offer a helping hand with marketing tasks from time to time. Examples of specific tasks could be:
- Preparing press releases and seek proactive PR stories
- Prepare presentations for external guests and representations
- Write blogposts and debate posts for external use
- Contribute to both internal and external communication strategies
- Chase and write stories for internal use
- Responsible for handling photos in our media archive
- Contribute to ideas and content creation for our social media channels
- Ad hoc administrative tasks
Your professional qualifications
This position is aimed at university students within communication, journalism, political science or related area. You are passionate about communication and have strong ambitions for the future. Moreover, we expect the following:
- You are skilled at writing fluently in both English and Danish
- You have a journalistic flair for finding the good stories
- You master MS Office programs Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- You are a fast learner, who quickly understands a given task
Your personal qualifications
We expect our new Student Worker to show commitment, be curious, and taking initiative. In addition to this you are:
- Highly organized, structured and do not mind routine tasks
- Able to produce quality work with attention to detail
- A self-starter with the ability to work with different tasks simultaneously
