CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Can you check both these two boxes, there’s a good chance you should join us as our new Construction manager for solar utility scale projects in Denmark.
By joining us as Construction manager you’ll be an instrumental player in our realization of development of solar utility scale projects in Denmark. You will be reporting directly to the Project Manager and dotted line to our Associate Director, EPC. Working in GreenGo, we team up, co-create in an informal yet ambitious setting with a strong will to succeed and an ability to execute in an agile, empowered and entrepreneurial environment.

Roles and responsibilities:
- Oversees construction sites, construction contractors (GC and/or EPC), to ensure a high level of quality and safety
- Support the Project Manager and/or Supply Chain Manager to create and reviews Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal and Change Orders
- Verifies that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures
- Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices
- Provides technical support to Project Managers and Engineering Team
- Performs change order estimating and assists the Project Manager in change order negotiations
- Assists in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors’ construction schedules and obtaining corrective action plans if necessary
- Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and potential changes – supporting the Project Managers
Your profile:
- Relevant educational background and solid knowledge of construction processes, preferably solar EPC industry experience
- Knowledge of project management, controls, and risk assessment/management
- You are used to plan and realize construction projects, and taking care of steering the projects through conflicts and problems, and joggle multiple tasks at the same time
- You possess skills in communication/presentation, facilitation of meeting, and reporting
- The role requires travel to construction sites approx. 80% of the work time
- Fluent in Danish and English
