Principal Consultant to strengthen [xxxxx] Laboratory Team

NNIT is looking for a unique Principal Consultant with a deep pharmaceutical laboratory IT expertise who wishes to make a mark on some of the most exciting laboratory IT projects within the Life Sciences industry.

The NNIT Laboratory Team is currently shaping our strategic life sciences laboratory brand, building on more than 20 years of experience in this specific domain. We are moving both our clients’ and our own organization’s understanding towards the digitalized lab of the future.

Your responsibilities as a Principal Consultant

You will join an exciting, international Manufacturing & Supply Chain Solutions department with highly skilled colleagues that have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry. We know and have hands-on experience with the processes of laboratories both in R&D as well as in manufacturing and the ability to bridge this knowledge with IT.

Working closely with international clients, you will use your experience from the laboratory domain to:

• Advise and assist companies in a vast array of projects, spanning from laboratory IT strategy, IT architecture roadmaps, implementations, integrations, process optimization to data standardization.
• Advice on vendor selections new IT solutions within the area of LIMS, eLN, SDMS and CDS
• Give presentations and speaker sessions at conferences and write articles about hot topics for the lab of the future.
• Engage in pre-sales and direct client sales activities.

As a Principal Consultant, you think strategically and analytically about our customer's business and technical challenges, and form ideas to solve these challenges. You have a strong sense of ownership and drive and you know how to earn trust, think big, and work cross-organizationally to deliver results.

Your qualifications and experiences

First and foremost, you bring a strong consulting mindset with focus on business development, and you are used to having commercial responsibility and a customer-facing role.

You may have an Engineering, Scientific Educational Background within Life Sciences and have several years of successful advisory experience within the Life Science industry in general (preferably pharma companies).

• You have a solid understanding/knowledge of:
  • pharma or biotech company product value chain and lifecycle,
  • different laboratories that can be found in R&D and Manufacturing & Supply Chain business areas in life science companies, and how their scope of work contributes to the product value chain,
  • IT systems and processes required to implement and maintain digital solutions within the laboratory space, through close collaboration with IT-OT teams.
  • project management methodologies. You have acted as a project manager or coordinator for smaller projects covering one or a few departments, or as work package owner in larger projects. You are able to break up necessary work into activities and milestones, and support others in doing the same.
  
  
• You are experienced in implementing new business processes in laboratories, particularly as part of the implementation of a digital solution.
• You have hands-on knowledge of laboratory IT solutions such as LIMS (LabVantage, LabWare, etc), ELN, CDS (Empower, Chromeleon, etc), preferably as superuser and/or as business SME who was a key project team member when the solution was implemented, rolled out to users, or went through a large upgrade.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies. You have acted as project manager or
• You are a strong team player with great listening and presentation skills.

The position is based in Denmark, Switzerland, or Germany. However, our clients are global, and travel can be expected occasionally. Fluency in oral and written English is a must. German or Danish is highly beneficial.
