Innovation Consultant

We are looking for a dynamic Innovation Consultant to help drive our efforts in testing and validating new concepts with our customers.

Are you passionate about driving innovation and transforming ideas into reality? As Innovation Consultant you become a part of [xxxxx] Domestic Building Services, Frontloading innovation. You will be part of a growing team, which currently consists of 5 people who work with the same aim.

What is the job about?

You work in a dynamic environment, where you contribute to collecting great ideas for the next product innovation. You are part of evaluating the business potential for selected ideas through customer interactions and you contribute to sharing insights from these customer interactions within our organization.

Your main responsibilities:

Utilize your expertise to organize and lead idea sourcing campaigns to gather new concepts.
Test new ideas and concepts through direct engagement with customers (interviews) and relevant external stakeholders.
Design and develop prototypes for promising ideas.
Analyze customer feedback and document key insights.
Share lessons learned with the Frontloading Innovation team and relevant internal and external parties.
Foster a culture of innovation within [xxxxx] Domestic Building Services.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such Business Administration, Engineering, Innovation Management or a related discipline. Advantage to be familiar with innovation methods.
A few years of professional experience in a similar role, e.g. in an innovation-related position or consultancy.
Experience with project management, idea generation, customer insights, or design thinking processes would be advantageous.
Experience with innovation tools and methodologies e.g. design thinking, or business model generation. Familiarity with prototyping and data analysis tools would also be beneficial.
