At Gubra we think big and only the best solution is good enough. For an exciting and ambitious software development project, we are looking for a talented and dedicated front-end developer.
Gubra is a company with a very dynamic and fast-paced drive. We work with preclinical research to find new medicine within diabetes, obesity and related diseases. To support our research, we are constantly developing internal tools to support collection and processing of the vast amount of research data we create every day. This is where our new front-end developer comes in to ensure a coherent and great user experience.
If you can see yourself contributing to a greater cause by using your passion for making great tools for our users, and you have experience with working in projects and the relevant competencies, we can offer you an exciting position with great influence in a highly prioritized project.
You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, e.g. software engineers in Denmark and India, an in-house product manager, solution architect, group leaders and the CTO. As such, we value great communication and collaboration skills reaching for our common goals.

You take great pride in your professional work. You are on time and simultaneously manage to be flexible. Other personal qualifications include team spirit, good communication skills and a constructive mindset when troubleshooting is necessary. In general, you have a positive approach and are dedicated to your work. You solve your assignments carefully and thoroughly. Moreover, you can manage many different tasks.

Your tasks as Front-end developer
- Develop applications based on requirements from stakeholders and user feedback in collaboration with UX/UI designer
- Contribute to making user-friendly and efficient solutions
- Join the team in finding ways to scale the development of growing and complex frontends
Professional qualifications:
- Relevant education
- Solid experience with responsive SPA web application development (HTML5, CSS, JS) using React with documented experience as front-end developer either professionally or in open-source projects
- Experience with TypeScript or other strongly typed language
- Experience with Redux or Flux and GraphQL
- Experience from working in a Scrum / agile team and/or with Git and pull request based open source development
- Experience with developing and deploying web applications using Node.js is an advantage
Personal qualifications
- Flair for, experience with or maybe even expertise in developing great user interfaces for complex systems
- Detail-oriented and caring, with a passion for making great tools for users
- A desire for creating something new, different and difficult – that doesn’t look like Snapchat or any other mainstream app
