This position is based at our friendly office in Roskilde, and you will join our IT Risk Team. The team is in charge of Implementing IT Risk processes and advising 1st line on IT Risks
You will join a risk team of 8 IT risk consultants, all with different experiences and backgrounds in the IT and/or financial sector.
We are looking for an operational IT Risk consultant with deep knowledge and understanding of IT and Information Security risks. As a person you thrive with and are motivated by changes that you create both individually and as a team member implementing and operating the newly implemented IT risk process in bec.
You have a strong technical background ready to challenge identified risks and mitigations in 1st line and a solid foundation in the ISO 27001/27002/27005. You may already be acquainted with or certified in CRISC or ready to build new knowledge within the framework.
The IT Risk Consultant position offers an position with a wide range of stakeholders and which has impact on a significant part of critical Danish infrastructure. At bec, we work in a hybrid remote model, coming into the office 3 days a week and working remotely for 2 days. Your direct manager will be Snezana Janjic
Preferably, you have an educational background at bachelor’s level within the technical field and some years of experience from a similar position working with IT risk and security frameworks for financial business.

Primary task and responsibilities include:
- Contribute with knowledge when implementing a new IT risk process
- Challenge and advise 1st line on identified IT risks and ensure the right level of mitigating measures
- Further development of the IT risk process, procedures, and instructions
- Aggregate and communicate risks and mitigating controls to a broad spectrum of stakeholders (e.g. management, business side, developers & operations engineers)
To succeed you will have:
Preferably, you have an educational background at bachelor’s level within the technical field and some years of experience from a similar position working with IT risk and security frameworks for financial business.
Additionally:
- Well established abilities and experience with IT risk and operational security
- Technology knowledge at a level in which you can challenge the risk owners in 1st line and motivate to the right level of mitigations
- Structured, proactive and a great facilitator
- Open and reflective when approaching colleagues and stakeholders
- Like to be a part of and deliver as a team
