Freelance - Taastrup

For an enterprise client, we are looking for a GCP Advisor on management level.

Based on experience, the consultant must be able to:

  • On behalf of the client, enter directly into dialogue with the supplier with regard to assess the architecture of the proposed solution

  • General quality of the solution (including flexibility - we are talking 30 years!)

  • Distribution of responsibilities in relation to the desired SPOC solution

  • How easy is the solution to operate (especially together with other internal landscapes) - what must the client anticipate in terms of costs for operation / maintenance in connection with. the solution

  • Risks regarding. cost / capacities - can the costs run wild?

  • Good practice for Enterprise, including opportunities and limitations in relation to flexible and robust integration surfaces as well as network conditions and security in connection with. event, API and database integration on the Google Cloud Platform


Further:
  • Advise the client on the consequences of the solution

  • Estimation of expected costs of operating solution

  • General insight into cost optimization on Google Cloud Platform, incl. use of Google's capabilities tools

  • Degree of commitment to supplier weighed against benefit using the supplier's functionality

  • Future co-existence with other client solutions

  • Advise the client on general cloud conditions

  • Solid knowledge of SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, which are 'related' cloud agreement forms they have to navigate between, but mostly SaaS. = sparring on liability between the client and supplier

  • Participate as sparring and advisor for the client in both internal meetings in the project and in relation to the overall multi cloud work

  • Knowledge of and attitude to derived competency needs in an organization such as the client (CoE); also what needs the client has in mind for their agreement with 3rd party

  • Participate in sparring with Infrastructure and multi-cloud operations - for the entire organization


  • Experience from implementing cloud in other larger complex organizations

  • Deep insight into Google components

  • General knowledge of other major cloud platforms (Azure and AWS)

  • Good written and oral skills in English


Note: Part time 50%

Start: 1. October 2020
Duration: 6 Months +option
Work location: Taastrup, Denmark
Requirements: Min. 5 years of professional IT experience.
