Freelance - Vejle
We are looking for a colleague to join the Operations & Maintenance division in Business Unit Offshore Wind. They plan and execute maintenance on a yearly cycle, with the accountability for cost and revenue of our offshore wind farms.
This is where you come into the picture. You will be a part of a ongoing programme across the Business Unit that seeks to improve and harmonise the cycles of Plan-Do-Check-Act that are performed (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) to enable continuous improvement and thereby deliver industry-leading performance.
Location: Kolding or Esbjerg (West Denmark) or Amsterdam - 50% remote possible
Qualifications:
Min. a University/College degree - specialization can be any, but preferably human factors, business management, logistics or a numerical subject
Knowledge of methodologies for interviewing and observing staff at different levels of seniority (from technician to senior manager) to capture their regular activities & synthesise them into presentation material and/or reports
Experience in an operational environment (e.g. factory or wind farm)
Experience of Agile project management and product development
Experience of Design Thinking
Excellent English skills
Able to start right away
Valid EU work permit
Tasks:
Visit wind farm sites in Northern Europe to observe, interview and record how they perform pre-task planning, post-task review and improvement
Interview colleagues at all levels of the business to understand how information is shared between sites, regional support and central functions to support decision making and continuous improvement
Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. Work with colleagues to design improved processes and procedures. helping to assess the cost and value to the business of operational changes
