CHALLENGING ENVIRONMENT
Facility Management (FM) in COWI is divided into two sections located in the Eastern and Western part of Denmark, also present in Norway and Sweden. Our department comprises of skilled and competent colleagues, who support Line of Business, and have the responsibility for all FM-functions within COWI Denmark.
Facility Management is an independent department that coordinates and manages all service-related business in COWI, saving time for the rest of COWI to focus on the company’s primary core business.

We are looking for a new team member for our office in Vejle. As a Piccolo in FM, you will gain an insight into how a large international organization operates, and you will be able to build up a wide network of professional and engaged colleagues in an informal working environment.
Join our FM team from 22nd of August 2022. It is a full-time position and limited to 31st of August 2023.

You are well organized and a go-getter

  • You will be part of a small team in a department where it is important that everyone contributes and takes responsibility. Tidiness, high sense of quality and a positive spirit are must-haves in a busy workday. To work independently and take the initiative is also important, when working together in a small team.

You are communicative and service-minded
Your desk will be located at our front office. You will be responsible for services during the day, and other various tasks as well as relieving at the front office, where we welcome guests and take care of other reception tasks. Also, you will be part of COWI Denmark's switchboard every day. Other tasks:

  • Clean and fill up the coffee machines, the kitchenettes and handling waste.
  • Send, receive and register postal packages.
  • Ordering office supplies and maintain the office printers.
  • Maintain our bikes and company car with cleaning.

You have good IT skills

  • You will be given many office tasks, such as registration, handling services and assist with setting up meetings and conferences, so you must have good computer skills and be experienced with Microsoft Office tools. Especially distribution of emails and Excel.

You hold a driver's license

  • You will be running some errands, so it is obligatory to have a driver's license for this position and be familiar with driving.

You are fluent in Danish and English

  • We are an international company, so speaking and writing in English is necessary, but we also expect that you have good Danish skills both when it comes to speaking and writing.
