Would you like to help shape the future of a dynamic, fast-growing outerwear lifestyle brand? Rains is a merge of performance wear, street style and trend. A minimal neo-Scandinavian aesthetic with a focus on functional and understated details have been central to the success of the brand and its collections.

The styles and collections are designed, developed, and marketed from Rains’ headquarters in Aarhus, and distributed globally through own concept stores, wholesale partners and E-commerce.

THE POSITION

You will work closely with the Head of Design, as well as the rest of the Product team designing two main collections a year, including two pre-drops and two show exclusive collections.

The responsibilities are:

  • Concept build-up and visualization
  • Product, quality, and trim developing
  • Trend research in line with the brand profile
  • Create sketches, technical files, and style information for our suppliers
  • Collaborate with our production team and follow your designs through the developing process
  • Keeping deadlines and collections structures
  • Relating to relevant customer insights and feedback from markets
  • Create material for presentations both internally and externally

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

  • +3 years’ experience preferably as Bag Designer
  • A natural interest in fashion, trends, and modern culture
  • Solid skills within product development and production processes
  • Proficient in sketching and technical drawings
  • Proficient in Illustrator
  • Good communication skills and must be fluent in written and spoken English

PERSONAL SKILLS

  • Passionate, serviceminded and ambitious to create high-quality products
  • Self-driven and pragmatic with a proactive mindset
  • Take initiative and work independently, as well as in a collaborative team environment
  • Creative and able to think outside the box
  • Organizational skills and eagerness to work on multiple projects simultaneously, finished according to plan and our standards
  • Create energy and enthusiasm among your colleagues
