An exciting and varied freelance opportunity is available for a period of 3 months initially at one of the UK’s best small companies to work for.
We are a global fintech company based in Macclesfield, Cheshire and we are looking for a freelance Graphic Designer to come and work in the office in a busy marketing team.
Supporting the Marketing Director and Brand & Communications Manager, you will support the Marketing Department by working across all brands within the Group, to produce high quality design assets for all of global territories. **** is an emerging and collaborative company and the right candidate will need to possess a can-do attitude and demonstrate an agile work ethic to jump on new projects as required and manage a busy workload.
Essential skills and experience
- Experience of Adobe Creative Suite is essential including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator as well as Microsoft Office PowerPoint.
- Understand brands, layout, web-design and usability.
- Possess thorough knowledge of integrating design concepts into overall branding and marketing programs.
- Must be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and manage production schedules.
- High level of communication skills, enjoy working under pressure to tight deadlines and monitor productivity.
- Experience of working with online and offline teams.
Basic video editing skills is a plus but is not essential
Key responsibilities
- Collate, priories design requests from multiple departments and global territories and log and track projects using Monday.com, setting realistic delivery for deliverables.
- Create new designs templates from scratch and adapt existing graphics and designs for use in both internal and external communications and media, including but not limited to; presentations, office assets, print media, digital media, social media, email templates, brand guidelines as well as producing resizes of existing design assets.
- Source on-brand imagery, maintain asset library for all aspects of marketing collateral.
- Create brand guidelines and refresh existing brand guidelines, working alongside key stakeholders within the Group.
