Join our green movement – Designing Waste into Value
We are looking for a technical designer with a passion for innovation, recycling and sustainability for 30+ hours/week for designing and creating blueprints for textile products.
Who are we?
TARPREC ApS is a green start-up founded in 2017 in Vejle, Denmark. Our focus lays in recycling soft PVC material, mainly from truck curtains. PVC plastic is one of the biggest polluters of today, but we believe that this solution is part of a greener future. By recycling the plastic waste into useable materials, we help reduce the environmental disadvantages, which soft PVC brings.
Our new TARP-member
We are currently looking for our new technical designer, who is familiar with operating industrial sewing machines and creating blueprints for products such as bags, backpacks, etc. Our main plan is to combine recycled soft PVC with other materials – thereby creating unique and sustainable products. Based on this, we have formed a new project with the main purpose of turning waste into fashionable textile products. This is your chance to become part of a start-up company and use your creativity in designing collections and deciding the future approach with the rest of the TARP-team.

The ideal TARP-team member:
- Has experience with designing products – preferably bags, backpacks, sleeves etc.
- Has a design/product portfolio, documenting previous work.
- Has experience with operating industrial sewing machines
- Has knowledge in creating designer’s blueprints for products – practical knowledge is an advantage, however not a must.
- Can communicate (verbally/written) English and/or Danish
- Has a proactive mindset and can work independently
