About the department

Many of our quality products are delivered through a dosage pen system, allowing for precise and convenient regulation of chronical diseases. Like everything else we do, the manufacturing, testing and packaging of these pen systems requires scrutinous safety and quality processes to ensure that every single pen we distribute is both safe and fulfils the quality standards we employ. In Biopharm Finished Products Måløv & Værløse (Bio FP MA&VA), we ensure that the final processes in a long value chain adheres to these standards – in our packaging lines, we make the products ready for shipment for people around the world living with chronical diseases.

You will be a part of our support team of seven colleagues - pharmacists, Biotechnologist and engineers. Together, it is our responsibility to support and continuously improve our assembly and packaging lines to performing better tomorrow than we did yesterday while remaining on a high compliance level. Our workday unfolds in an environment where the pace is high, and our contribution to the production of pens is felt on a daily basis. As a team, we have a strong team spirit to help each other and at the same time work across the organisation to create best possible results. The department (Bio FP MA&VA, hGH Packaging) counts for about 90 engaged operators, technicians, engineers and process supporters.

The job

Your primary task will be to support the production and ensure a stable production with quality consciousness. This include presence in the production, systematic problem solving, deviation handling and a responsibility to ensure ongoing update of instructions and procedures so they fulfil current GMP requirements and follow manufacturing procedures. Further you will contribute in the success of implementing some of the future products in Biopharm, Novo Nordisk.

When sudden challenges arise in our production, it will be your responsibility to ensure that action is taken so problems can be solved fast, efficiently and on the right quality level. In this way, we often get to be the people who gets everything up and running again – with the dedicated help of all the experienced operators, technicians and other supporters.

Another important aspect of the job will be to secure optimised performance of our production lines by having an unerring eye for improvement initiatives, optimization possibilities and LEAN activities within quality and productivity and that you are able to succeed with these independently and with input from other professions. You will be handling many concurrent tasks and it is therefore important that you are good at prioritizing what’s most important while maintaining focus on quality.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position, you must have a relevant education e.g. in pharmacology, biotechnology or engineering. You may just have finished your studies, or you may have a wide range of experience in your field; your tasks will be planned according to your level of experience. If you have just finished your studies, you have had a summer/student job, an internship or the like, where you have had the chance to learn something about yourself in a work environment. No matter which background you have, it is essential that you have solid experience with GMP. If you have knowledge of LEAN and a curious nature that enables you to understand our processes, it’s an absolute advantage.

As a person you are quite the problem solver and you thrive in a dynamic environment where there are always more problems to solve and tasks to dive into. Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of the business is a prerequisite. You work independently, and you are able to make fast decisions not compromising quality or innovative thinking. It is required that you are outgoing and have good interpersonal and communication skills as you will be working with several stakeholders and professions. Fluency in spoken and written Danish is mandatory and in English a big plus.
