MakesYouLocal helps webshops succeed abroad. One of our important business areas is local customer service across 15 languages. Customer service is one of the industries that will see a lot of changes over the coming years due to new technology. We are looking for a person with a strong customer service gene and an interest and curiosity within technology, to help us use the technology to improve the customer experience.

The headline for the solutions we choose to implement is that they improve the customer experience. An important part of the role is to understand how the technology will impact customers. Will they find it user friendly, effective and empathic? Another important part of the role is to be the product owner of these technologies and make sure we use our learnings to improve the solutions to the benefit of our clients.

What we expect from our next colleague

First of all, we are looking for people with the right attitude and for us, this means that you most days are happy and positive. That you are ready to step up when our customers need you and enjoy the freedom on days where they don’t. The job also requires an interest in e-commerce and a genuine desire to deliver compelling customer experiences. On top of that we expect you:

• to have experience from customer service
• to be a skilled IT (super)user with fundamental understanding of IT architecture
  
• to have a basic understanding of AI and Machine Learning
• to be able to speak and write in English

This is a full-time position and you will be working from our office in Copenhagen. We help businesses with the initial strategic decisions and localisation of their online shops, to make sure they meet expectations in the new country. Once the online shop is launched, our local teams are an important part of the daily operations for our customers. We can take care of customer service and shop maintenance in local languages as well as business development, marketing planning, and execution.

MakesYouLocal was established in 2010. The idea came from more than 10 years of work in leading Danish online shops, selling in several countries.
