MakesYouLocal helps webshops succeed abroad. One of our important business areas is local customer service across 15 languages. Customer service is one of the industries that will see a lot of changes over the coming years due to new technology. We are looking for a person with a strong customer service gene and an interest and curiosity within technology, to help us use the technology to improve the customer experience.

Every solution we choose to implement is underlined by a desire to improve the end customer’s experience when shopping online. An important part of the role is to understand how technology will impact customers. Will they find it user friendly, effective and empathic? You will also be the product owner of the automation products in our Customer Service product suite and make sure we use our learnings to continuously improve the solutions to the benefit of our clients.

What we expect from our next colleague

First and foremost we look for someone who gets excited at the thought of investigating how customers interact with technology in customer service. We are also looking for a candidate who can share this knowledge in the organisation and is ready to step up when our customers need them and enjoy the freedom on days where they don’t. On top of that we expect you:

• to have experience from customer service
• to be a skilled IT user
• to be able to speak and write in English

This is a full-time position and you will be working from our office in Copenhagen. Once the online shop is launched, our local teams are an important part of the daily operations for our customers. We can take care of customer service and shop maintenance in local languages as well as business development, marketing planning, and execution.
