Advalight has developed a patented, multi-wavelength, medical laser system allowing dermatologists to treat a wide variety of skin abnormalities. The ADVATx® laser treatment system has been cleared for sale in Europe, Asia, and the US, and Advalight is now ramping up the production. To support the growth, we are looking for a technologically curious person who must support an existing medical device and must at the same time participate in the development of a new product.

To support the growth, we are looking for a technologically curious person who must support an existing medical device and must at the same time participate in the development of a new product.
Job profile:
Reporting to the COO, your tasks will be highly diversified and will include:
- Manage the Service organization in Advalight
- Develop and Implement the Service Strategy for the company
- Cooperate with and integrate Service Partners and Distributors into Advalight’s Service Strategy
- Providing Service and Support to distributors and customers world-wide for hardware and software issues.
- Complaint handling: communication with the customer, first line support, troubleshooting, inhouse and on-site repair, software updates and service reporting.
- Develop and Perform product service training to distributors world-wide
- Improve systems and internal procedures regarding handling and feed-back of complaints
- Responsible for compliance of ISO 13485 in regards to Service.
- Provide planned service at customer sites, primarily in Europe (travelling 10-15 days/year)
- Be an active part of the Operations team on support existing product
- Prepare required documents due to regulatory and quality measurement required for medical devices.
Candidate profile:
Your qualifications should include a technical background, preferably including:
- An engineering degree or equivalent work experience required
- Experienced with training external technicians
- Experienced with adjusting front-end software systems
- Handling service orders and planning
- Excellent technical oral and written skills in English
Furthermore, the ideal candidate would have experience with
- Used to work with electronic equipment
- Used to work with regulatory requirements
- Lasers and Optics
- ERP systems (NAV)
