About normal A/S

At normal we sell completely normal goods at abnormal prices. The range includes well-known branded products in e.g., skin care, hair care, dental care, shampoo, make-up, and cleaning. In short: All the things that you cannot do without in your everyday life, and which ideally must not be missing from the shelves at home.

normal is a Danish-owned retail chain. We opened the doors to the first store in Silkeborg in April 2013, and since then normal has grown into a chain with more than 500 stores in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, France, Finland, Portugal, and Spain.

The huge increase in number of stores has also been putting a lot more work into our current warehouse, which means that we constantly need to improve and investigate how we can do the operations in a more efficient and intelligent way. Maintaining our WMS system at our current location in Horsens and being a big part of the transition at our new warehouse, means that we are looking for a new colleague and we hope it is you!

About our WMS department:

You will get to work in a smaller department, where the mood is high, and the focus is on job satisfaction and professional sparring. As a WMS supporter you will play a crucial role in our Logistics WMS Development team. We are a dynamic and curious department that focuses on development and support of our warehouse’s WMS system. We participate in both big and smaller development projects.

Your tasks will include:

  • 1st level support
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting
  • Training of employees
  • Ongoing identification of areas with optimization potential
  • Reporting issues and crashes

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role it is crucial, that you can see yourself in the following!

  • You have extensive experience with WMS systems
  • You are passionate about assisting your colleagues in resolving issues
  • You take pride in helping and instructing both new and experienced employees
  • You have a natural aptitude for working with systems and software
  • You are curious and proficient in identifying needs
  • You can explain solutions and results in a clear and simple manner
  • You enjoy working independently and concentrated

We expect you have knowledge of logistics and WMS solutions. It is important you can speak and write in English and understand some Danish.

Place of employment:

You will work at our warehouse north of Horsens in Gedved. We are in the process of building a new logistics center in Hedensted, where we will move to in 2023, where you eventually will have your daily workday. Around one day per week will be spent at our headquarters in Skanderborg.

Work hours:

23.00 – 7.00

We are moving fast after finding the right candidate, who will have their first working day on 01-09-2023. We want to make sure that the right one is found so, we will have interviews until we’ve found the right match.
