- Ensure technical courses, seminars or events are scheduled and entered onto the Canon Development Hub in line with business needs
- To coordinate and maintain training room bookings. Maintain safe and healthy training environments by following organization standards and legal regulations.
- To create and update all UK learning objective forms as and when courses are created or amended.
- Promoting and identifying learning path requirements across Service and support business units.
- Provide training and support on the use of Canon Development Hub, Knowledge Base and act as first point of escalation, reporting issues to the CEL support team as required. Promote all Canon Knowledge Management tools
- Maintain an up-to-date record of all training assets, processing CAPEX requests for new hardware when needed
- Ensure data compliance in across all platforms in accordance with GDPR / Canon policy through effective processes and procedures.
- Manage and maintain the quality of Training material. Identify opportunities for improving training delivery methods and procedures. Identifying resource needs.
- To liaise with local Field Support Specialists as required to ensure that New Product Launches are supported by Training.

As part of the Technical Training and Support department you would be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of Training courses, seminars, and online events for the Service channels. As well as managing local knowledge databases.
This includes coordinating and administrating all training portals, courses, training material content and management of the training facilities ensuring their availability and use meets business needs. Ensure all Course content is kept up to date and conform to the Canon standard.
Manage overall performance and quality of the local knowledgebases Including access management to knowledge databases used by Direct and In-Direct Field Service Engineers

- A salary of £25,408 – £26,820

- Demonstrate Experience in data analysis in measuring effectiveness of training programmes, linked to business objectives / strategies.
- Demonstrate Experience in content management, training plans either on own or working alongside subject matter experts (SME’s)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in creating / forecasting half yearly training plans.
- Excellent Knowledge of best practices in creating instructional material.
- Good working knowledge of Data Protection / GDPR Compliance.
- Good understanding around H&S regulation in terms of maintaining sate working environments / training center.
- Experience of promoting service tools (Knowledge Management) in realizing business benefits / ROI.
