Region NCE SBU NCE Service Customer & Contract Management Offshore Customer Management Team 1

The Customer & Contract Management department is responsible for maintaining the customer relationships and the commercial interface with our customers who operate offshore wind farms, ensuring that customers receive a high-quality customer experience. We are the point of contact for service customers, overseeing the different service contracts in their portfolio, in terms of service execution and commercial obligations but also focusing on partnership and commercial growth. In this way we act as an interface between the external and internal stakeholders. This includes supporting operational service teams in their efforts to maintain and optimize the wind energy production for our customers. The department is part of the Offshore Service organization in the Vestas NCE Region.

As a Customer Service Professional, you will be responsible for managing Vestas' obligations towards customers under operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts as well as technical support agreements. You will oversee day to day administration of service contracts and collaborate with a wide network of internal stakeholders to find high-quality solutions to complex problems. You will act as the customer’s point of contact, provide proactive support, addressing and resolving complex customer issues promptly, whilst fostering strong, long-term partnerships with our customers.

In this role you can be based in Aarhus (Denmark), Hamburg (Germany) or Edinburgh (Scotland), so we are accepting applications for all three locations.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Secure and maintain world class customer relationships, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and renewal of service contracts
  • Own the contract; making sure that Vestas delivers according to the contract.
  • Resolve customer issues, providing contractual and commercial support.
  • Identify additional sales opportunities and support service sales department with proposals
  • Keep records of customer interactions and maintain contract related data using internal tools
  • Keep a clear overview of due payments and monitor the follow up
  • Prepare quotations, issue service orders, assess routine customer claims and issue contractual notifications.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a good commercial and /or technical education with previous experience in a customer-facing position, for example in a project management or contract management position, particularly dealing with complex, global customers, ideally in the energy services sector.

We are looking for:

  • At least Bachelor level education coupled with relevant professional experience
  • Service contract delivery background preferably from the wind industry
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role
  • Familiarity with wind turbines or rotating machinery, plant, processes, or systems
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.

  • Networking skills and ability to collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, including engineers, sales, legal and accounts.

  • Creativity and positive personality, focusing on realizing opportunities in a rapidly growing market

Additional information

Location: In this role you can be based in Aarhus (Denmark), Hamburg (Germany) or Edinburgh (Scotland), so we are accepting applications for all three locations.

For this position you can expect 50 travel days per year.
