Service Coordinator with strong security background
Do you want to be part of a hectic and ever-changing environment where Security and professionalism are at the forefront? Are you motivated by delivering service at a high level to stakeholders across the organisation? Then you may be the new Security Service Coordinator we are looking for.
About the department
Our team consists of 26 Security Officers and is in charge of operating three main security gates within Novo Nordisk both in Greater Copenhagen area and in Hillerød. Moreover, we have miscellaneous guard tasks in some of our key buildings and we conduct inspections around our various locations. We guard Novo Nordisk buildings and people every day of the year. The main gates are the centre of many possible security and service tasks, and we work together with a large number of Novo Nordisk departments. Due to our service span, we work through distance leadership-/teamwork which call for effective and targeted communication at all levels.
The team is part of Corporate Facilities where the primary objective is to enable the Novo Nordisk way of working for more than 16,000 colleagues in Denmark.
The position
You will be an important and very visible part of the team in regards to all our Novo Nordisk stakeholders as well as the security officers.
You will be expected to drive development, effectiveness and deliver our service in regards to maintaining a clear responsibility split with our stakeholders, and developing a clear strategy for the services and defining standards and service levels.
Your primary tasks includes ensuring working in compliance with our Operational model, delivering data towards documenting our KPI´s, coordinating the work schedule and ensure changes in working hours are registered correctly. The coordinator position is expected to ensure that service levels are met and - via information from both security officers and stakeholders - to adjust and implement service levels. As we are expected to deliver high quality work you must be quality oriented and possess knowledge of ensuring how to document via data and registrations.
The position is an administrative position and as our service is operated 24/7 it is expected that your working hours will be placed within this period of time.
Qualifications
The right candidate holds a Bachelor degree of Commerce or equivalent. Your background might be from the security business, police or military and you may be educated as Security Manager (Eksamineret Sikringsleder) or equivalent. Being super user in the Office-package is a must. You can work with data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and you have technical insight into SAP and other relevant IT systems.

You will be the main driver in the team. Motivation and engaging others must be something you thrive on. You will find it important and appealing to ensure and enable empowerment of our security officers to fulfil local responsibilities and in corporation with both colleagues and manager to succeed in having a great working environment. You will have colleagues from very different backgrounds. This will require tolerance and understanding to positively gain from the differences. You will need a good deal of curiosity and ability to work very systematic with your tasks.
You have a solid language background, speak and write Danish and English at a high level and have the ability to absorb and handle large amounts of information. You have competencies from working in a large company and handling many different stakeholders.
