Service Manager in R&D Portfolio Management

About the department

This job offers a greatopportunity to be part of a dedicated team in R&D Portfolio Management. The department is part of R&D Strategy & Portfolio Management, which works across the global R&D organisation providing recommendations, insights and advice to drive knowledge-based decision making and best in class positioning of R&D.

The job

As Service Manager for our IT system for the R&D project portfolio, you will play a key role in ensuring high master data quality input and extracts. You will be responsible for the day to day handling of the central project data system, like working closely with the project teams and update project data timely to reflect latest changes, prepare and setup reporting based on master data, as well as support and train users to use the system and governance processes. You will build a strong network within the project organisation and be able to identify, suggest and develop the process and tools for project management. We expect you to actively take part in the continuous development of the department and contribute to a high performing team.

Qualifications

Ideally you have some years of experience within Novo Nordisk or pharma industry, working with project administration, or business support with an excellent track record. You probably have a Bachelors degree or with documented long term experience in Economics, Engineering, Business Administration. It is a plus if you also have experience with tools like Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and potentially some experience with financial systems and processes. You are fluent in both spoken and written English.

  • You have high quality mindset who likes to work with data and see and like to work with improvement opportunities for it enabling systems
  • You are service-minded with excellent “customer” skills to ensure that data is correctly registered in the system according to processes and decisions
  • You are good at establishing strong collaborative relationships
