Would you like to have a high impact on the development and operations of our Global Ambu Service setup? Can you create value for our business and customers in a corporate function?
This is a unique opportunity for you to be part of our Global Operations Team in Ambu in an exciting role as Global Service Manager. We are looking for a new colleague to join us on the journey of growing and setting up a highly efficient service organization for our displaying unit products.
You will be responsible for managing service department operations, to provide the highest level of external and internal customer satisfaction. You will lead the activities in the value-stream from customers requesting a product upgrade, performing the upgrade, documentation and product release, to returning the product to the customer.
Ambu is an international and inspiring company with ambitious growth targets. We develop, produce and sell medical devices that enable doctors and nurses to save lives on a daily basis.
You will be a member of the Global Manufacturing team and work from our headquarters in Ballerup, in a global role with many stakeholders from the organization. You will travel to our global sites and suppliers to collaborate and provide training, so expect around 30-40 travel days per year.

Key responsibilities
- Drive the establishment and daily operations of a global service organization in Ambu
- Ensure compliance and documentation of all requirements related to handling of products
- Define processes for a best practice setup, that efficiently can be rolled out globally
- Collaboration with stakeholders from QA/RA, Marketing, Sales, Innovation, Operations etc.
- Report and follow-up on results and performance
Solid experience from managing a service organization
- Proactive with an ability of managing multiple challenges and executing on time
- Strong communication skills, and a collaborative team-oriented quality mindset
- High drive, motivation and accountability
- You have a relevant education and fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential
- Preferably 3-4 years relevant work experience from a similar position
- Broad technical understanding and IT skills (ERP, MS Office etc.)
- Experience within electronics and medical device industry is an advantage
