Therefore, we are searching for a skilled SAP Process Supporter who is interested in driving implementation of changes and development of SAP within the operational area and QA at site Hørsholm.

You will join a small team of SAP Process Supporters who supports both daily business processes and participate in cross functional projects to optimize and expand our business. We have a central role in the company with a high degree of collaboration with stakeholders across ALK. You will be part of a young team and an informal environment with good opportunities for personal development.

This is a two-year temporary position.

Responsibilities of the SAP support team

Joining this team, you will be the fifth member of the SAP support team, that together has the responsibility of the validated state of the SAP business processes for the operational areas (e.g., Planning, Production, QC, Logistics) and QA at site Hørsholm.

In this job it is important that you will be able you have a keen understanding of productional/operational processes and can translate that into IT language. You have a preference working with various stakeholders and can easily relate to their situation.

Your main task in this team will be:

  • Support daily operations in troubleshooting to fix urgent SAP issues
  • Write change control cases to document master data implementations or changes
  • Write/support deviations related to SAP
  • Support and perform training related to SAP
  • Update and establish required procedures for SAP
  • Support project related task with SAP knowledge and solutions

You will act as the interface between IT and Operation and must be able to explain complex situations in simple terms to make the two worlds understand each other.

In this job you will develop within following areas:

  • Gain knowledge about operational processes (covering 2 production areas, quality control, logistics and quality assurance)
  • Get familiar with the requirement of working within the GMP world (change control cases, deviations, etc.)
  • Learn about SAP modules (MM-PP-QM) and master data to support various setups
  • Learn and use systematic problem-solving tools (e.g., Ishikawa, 5 x Why)
  • Learn to use quality risk management tools

We work in a cGMP environment and according to the requirements of Computerized System Validation. Thus, all changes to SAP are documented through change control processes, and various documents describing the procedures, requirements, test and validation plans, protocols, reports, etc.

We are responsible for the general SAP training programs and for training of SAP superusers in the operational areas and QA.

The team participates in defining and planning of department strategies in relation to SAP on a tactical level for new and updated strategy plans.

We also prepare input for the ALK's overall IT strategy in relation to improving and expanding the use of SAP.

Your qualifications

  • You have a technical education as Bachelor or higher level within engineering, science, supply chain or similar
  • You have a service-minded personality
  • You take responsibility and understand the importance delivering good solutions within deadline
  • You have experience with SAP modules e.g MM, PP, QM is an advantage but not a requirement
  • You have knowledge/experience from GMP and pharmaceutical production, including change control cases
  • You have good collaboration and communication skills, both written and orally
  • You are fluent in spoken and written Danish and English

Personally, you are passionate about your assignments. You are open minded, have a positive attitude and thrive in an environment with many stakeholders throughout the company. You like to take responsibility, work structured and with respect to deadlines. At the same time, you should be flexible and motivated working in a busy environment where priorities and deadlines can change with short notice.
