In general, there is an increasing demand on the job marked for people who understand logistic and production processes and can support these be defining and creating SAP solutions. I this position you will work closely with various logistic, production and quality departments to understand their processes and how to support these by optimal SAP setup. You’ll also define SAP processes and functionalities to increase the quality, overview, and efficiency of our current and new processes. You will become a skilled SAP user by managing a range of SAP modules that support the whole operational area. Furthermore, you’ll get a broad insight into general business processes, as value streams from the production areas are reflected in SAP.

The position as SAP Process Supporter
You will join a team of SAP Process Supporters who supports both daily business processes and participate in cross functional projects to optimize and expand our business. We work in a GMP environment where all changes to SAP are documented. Furthermore, we are also responsible for the general SAP training programs and for training of SAP superusers in the operational areas and QA.
As SAP Process Supporter, you have a variety of responsibilities and tasks, and very often no two days are alike. Examples of some of the exciting tasks, you will be handling:
You’ll be working with various stakeholders across the organization at our site in Hørsholm, as well as with SAP colleagues in Spain, US, France, and Poland. The tasks will vary from back-office SAP tasks to more out-going tasks where new SAP setups and troubleshooting will be done together with “the customers”.
You will act as the interface between IT and Operations and explain processes and technical situations in simple terms to make the two worlds understand each other.
Your qualificationsYou have a technical education within engineering, supply chain, science or similar. Maybe you are newly graduated, or you have a few years of experience.

As SAP Process Supporter, you have a variety of responsibilities and tasks, and very often no two days are alike. Examples of some of the exciting tasks, you will be handling:
- Support your colleagues in Logistics, Production, Quality Control, etc. with troubleshooting to fix urgent SAP issues
- Ensure maintenance of master data
- Establish, support, and perform training related to SAP
- Support minor to major projects with SAP knowledge and solutions
- Define and ensure implementation of improved SAP master data and functionality setup to optimize ALK’s business
- Request and test new SAP functionalities
- Ensure the validated state of SAP operational transactions
- Update and establish required documentation
You’ll be working with various stakeholders across the organization at our site in Hørsholm, as well as with SAP colleagues in Spain, US, France, and Poland. Your qualificationsYou have a technical education within engineering, supply chain, science or similar. Maybe you are newly graduated, or you have a few years of experience.
Moreover, we imagine:
- You have interest and flair for working with IT systems
- You have good collaboration and communication skills, and understand the role of being in a support function
- You are fluent in spoken and written Danish and English
- It’s an advantage if you have a few years’ experience within logistics, supply chain, planning in SAP or similar systems
- It’s an advantage if you have knowledge/experience from production in a regulated environment (e.g., Pharmaceutical or food/beverages), including change control cases
- It’s an advantage if you have project experience either from handling small to medium complex projects or from participation in projects
