Would you like to be part of the team that makes it all happen? Would you like to get professional challenges every day and ensure that quality issues are handled timely - maintaining a stable delivery of products to a market that requires fast response and a high flexibility? In our Packaging support team, we use our quality mindset, production knowledge and our problem-solving skills to make sure that everything works as efficient as possible.
If you are the person to help us on our mission, we offer you an opportunity to widen your interest and skills in a position with great development opportunities, and fun challenges in an engaging working environment.
About the department
In department 114 we have located our two packaging lines, where we ensure that Haemophilia and Diabetes products are packed and made ready for shipment to people around the world living with chronical diseases.
The department also covers several support cross-functional functions such as IT & Automation, HVAC/Utility, Calibration and Training.
You will be part of our support team of seven colleagues - pharmacists, Biotechnologist and engineers. Together, it is our responsibility to support and continuously improve our packaging lines to perform better tomorrow than we did yesterday while remaining at the highest levels of quality and safety compliance. Our workday unfolds in an environment where the pace is high, and our contribution to the delivery of products is felt throughout a truly global organisation on a daily basis. As a team, we have a strong team spirit to help each other and at the same time work across the organisation to create best possible results. The department (BioFP KA Packaging & Support) counts about 87 engaged operators, technicians, administrative workers, engineers and process supporters all in all.
The job
Your primary task will be to support the production and ensure a stable production with quality consciousness. This include presence in the production, systematic problem solving, deviation handling and a responsibility to ensure ongoing update of instructions and procedures so they fulfil current GMP requirements and follow manufacturing procedures.
When sudden challenges arise in our production, it will be your responsibility to ensure that action is taken so problems can be solved fast, efficiently and on the right quality level. In this way, we often get to be the people who gets everything up and running again – with the dedicated help of all the experienced operators, technicians and other supporters.
Another important aspect of the job will be to secure optimised performance of our production lines by having an unerring eye for improvement initiatives, optimization possibilities and LEAN activities within quality and productivity, and with that you are able to succeed both independently as well as with input from other professions. You will be handling many concurrent tasks and it is therefore important that you are good at prioritizing what’s most important while maintaining focus on quality.
Qualifications
To qualify for the position, you must have a relevant education e.g. in pharmacology or machine engineering. You may just have finished your studies, or you may have a wide range of experience in your field; your tasks will be planned according to your level of experience. If you have just finished your studies, you have had a summer/student job, an internship or the like, where you have had the chance to learn something about yourself in a work environment – and preferably also what producing pharmaceutical products is all about. No matter which background you have, it is essential that you have the right approach for working in a GMP regulated area. You must have experience with LEAN and a curious nature that enables you to understand our processes quickly.
As a person you are quite the problem solver and you thrive in a dynamic environment where there are always more interesting issues to solve and tasks to dive into. Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of the business is a prerequisite. You work independently, and you are able to make fast decisions not compromising quality or innovative thinking. It is required that you are outgoing and have good interpersonal and communication skills as you will be working with several stakeholders and professions. Fluency in spoken and written Danish is mandatory and in English a big plus.
