Would you like to help solve the problems that arise in the very first parts of the insulin production process, and thereby insuring a stable flow in production at the world’s largest insulin plant? We are looking for academics for our Process Support Team - a job that is fit for you who enjoy a dynamic work environment, where your problem solving skills, as well as your personal skills and abilities to interact with colleagues are of great significance in reaching our ambitious goals.

The position

We have an exciting position to offer with a great variety of tasks, ranging from:

  • Daily operational support
  • GMP documentation
  • Problem solving
  • Implementation of continuous improvement
  • Work assignments (behind the desk and in production areas).

As our new process support you will have the responsibility for either the fermentation process or the raw materials used in the process. This means that you together with your colleagues will have the professional responsibility and make sure, that challenges are handled in your unit on a daily basis. The position involves daily support that ensures a stable and consistent production and you will have to be able to have an overview of many tasks at once. Therefore, it is important that you manage to prioritise the most important things first, make sure that things are finished in time, and with focus on quality.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in science area
  • Knowledge about Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is an advantage
  • Problem – solving skills
  • Fluent Danish and English.

You have good written and oral communication skills, making it easy for you to pass on knowledge to your stakeholders. You thrive in an environment where you get many things done and reach your goals. Doing this, you maintain focus and your good mood, even at times when things are very busy.

About the department

Novo Nordisk in Kalundborg, is the world’s largest insulin production plant, with a size corresponding to 156 football lanes, and is large enough to have a 5.5 kilometre running track around the site. We employ more than 2.600 dedicated employees, who all sets ambitious goals and strive to make a difference to our patients by delivering products of high quality.

The Fermentation Department is a part of the business area Insulin Manufacturing II (IM2). The department consists of about 80 employees, divided into 4 teams: operational, maintenance, production support and process support.

The Process Support Team, that you would be part of, consists of supporters with technical as well as academic backgrounds. Working in close collaboration with the Production Support Team. We are responsible for the process flow involving the fermentation process, equipment and machinery in the plant.
