Key responsibilities


• Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with many cross-functional teams, architects, product owners and engineer
• Make critical decisions that attribute to the success of the product
• Proactive in foreseeing issues and resolve it before it happens
• Partner with Platform business leader to align with objectives, priorities, trade-offs and risk
• Ensuring teams have clear priorities and adequate resources
• Empowering the delivery team to self-organize
• Be a multiplier and have a passion for the team and team members’ success
• Maintaining high morale and motivating the delivery team to go above and beyond
• Vocally advocating for technical excellence and helping the teams make good decisions
• Participating in architecture discussions and planning
• Participating in cross-functional coordination, planning, and reviews with leads from other engineering teams
• Maintaining and fostering our culture by interviewing and hiring only the most qualified individuals with an eye towards diversity
• Work with other Engineering Managers to drive platform and technology strategy to truly enable DevOps and target continuous release
• Leading lean thinking across teams focusing on removal of waste in process and handoff points across the lifecycle
• Defining of KPI framework and metrics reporting, using metrics to define success and adoptability of features; reporting on team effectiveness (time to value, release cadence)
• Defining and Leading the Discover Phase of a Product, to collect guest feedback on what matters and prioritizing features and epics

We are looking for


• Experience in Technology Transformation, Salesforce product Development experience, Platform Management, Engineering excellence to scale
• 15+ years’ experience leading software development projects with a distinguished track record on technically demanding projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations
• Expertise in building solutions in an Agile/DevOps environment as well as managing teams in building salesforce lead solutions.
• Should have in depth exposure to building salesforce solutions, platforms and key stakeholder management, data led product development and roadmaps.
• Experience in building scalable, high availability platforms with logic
• Ability to work with a number of departments outside of Application Development to create win win scenarios and move the organization forward
• Experience with Agile development methodologies. Scrum Master experience required
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and project management to understand requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
• Skilled stakeholder- and people manager with the ability to communicate complex messages, constructively challenge Product Owners and related stakeholders
• Build strategic working relationships, provide thought leadership and influence others.
• Impactful communication and influencing key decision makers & stakeholders.
• Articulating vision and translating strategies into execution.
• Leading by example and working with a large workforce working across geographies.
