Beam Robots Aps is now the world’s leading company within telepresence robots, and we have sold more than 1.000 Beams and have more than 20 resellers around the world. In total there are more than 2.500 customers worldwide, 7.500 Beams installed and more than 160.000 users of the robots.

Beam Robots ApS has been newly established as a spin out subsidiary from Blue Ocean Robotics after they bought and took over the assets from the Silicon Valley company “Suitable Technologies, Inc.”. The Beam robot is a remote operated mobile robot, which enables people to communicate via screens, cameras and microphones while at the same time enabling people to navigate and being mobile at remote locations. Such type of robot is referred to as a “telepresence robot” as it enables the users to have a presence at remote locations, providing a tool for communication with other people and being mobile at sites all over the world.

Beam Robots ApS is expanding rapidly, and are looking for a Regional Customer Success Officer, who can join us.

You should be able to work in a team of people with various backgrounds and cultures. As Regional Customer Success Officer you will be part of a rapidly expanding team, that aims to provide Beam customers, distributors and resellers with the best and most reliable customer service in existence. Your primary task will be to build and maintain relations within your defined region. Customer Success works closely with the Beam Robots sales department to ensure that the customers are implementing and utilizing their beams to the full potential. Beams, accessories and spare parts they need to succeed. Sales will therefore be a natural part of this job as well.

When joining Beam Robots you will have the opportunity to influence how the most well-recognized telepresence robot is succeeding in the market. You will join a company whose only goal is to make the Beam the most successful telepresence robot in the world market.

The Regional Success Officer will report to the Vice President of Customer Success.

To meet the responsibilities, we expect you to have:

  • Good interpersonal skills (people skills)
  • Solid understanding of and interest in technology
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and strong sense of ownership
  • The ability to structure and manage many tasks at once

Furthermore, the following will help you candidature:

  • Experience with supporting implementation of new technology
  • Business to business sales experience
  • Account management

In order to strive under these conditions, you are:

  • A positive team player.
  • Fluently in english writing and speaking.
  • Able to contribute in a creative and fast paced environment.

As a person you are self propelled, getting-things-done oriented, systematic, analytical and at times flexible. You are open for challenging targets and KPIs. You are service focused and sales oriented with a strong ability to manage everyday challenges in a startup company, which is one of a kind in the world.

What we offer.

Beam Robots ApS develops and commercializes the world leading telepresence robot; Beam. We are newly established from Blue Ocean Robotics, who are a Robot Venture Factory in Odense, Denmark. They develop and build mobile service robots within the health, hotel, construction and agriculture sector. For example the disinfection robot UVD Robots and the patient moving robot Multi-Tower. Blue Ocean Robotics supply all their venture companies, who are selling the service robots, with high quality robots on-time.

In October 2018 the Danish venture capital fund “Nordic Eye Venture Capital” invested more than €13 million in the international scaling of Blue Ocean Robotics.
