Beam Robots Aps - is the world’s leading company within telepresence robots, and we have sold more than 1.000 Beams and have more than 20 resellers around the world. In total there are more than 2.500 customers worldwide, 7.500 Beams installed, and more than 160.000 users of beam® robots.
Beam Robots ApS has recently been established as a spin out subsidiary from Blue Ocean Robotics, acquiring all assets and IP licenses belonging to the beam business from Suitable Technologies Inc. based in Palo Alto, Silicon Valley. The acquisition is subject to final approval in the USA. Blue Ocean Robotics will now be developing and producing the beam® robots, and Beam Robots ApS will be performing marketing, sales, support and servicing of customers and resellers worldwide.
The beam® robot is a remotely operated mobile robot, which enables people to communicate via screens, cameras and microphones while at the same time allowing people to navigate and being mobile at remote locations. Such type of robot is referred to as a “telepresence robot” as it enables the user (beam® pilot) to be present and mobile at remote locations while communicating with other people all over the world.
Beam Robots ApS is expanding rapidly, and therefore we are looking for a Customer Success Officer who can join us. You will be expected to be able to work in a team of people with different backgrounds and cultures.
The job - As a Customer Success Officer you will be responsible for the beam organizations associated with you, have the beam-knowledge required to utilize their beams to their full potential. In short, your job will be to ensure that the Beam organisation admins, users and Beam Robots resellers are happy and capable of utilizing their beam® robots. When joining Beam Robots, you will have a unique opportunity to influence the way people use telepresence world wide, beam is the leading product within the industry. The Customer Success Officer will report to the Vice President of Customer Success.

You have a strong sense of what the term "service" means, how to put the customer in the center of everything. You are service focussed and digitally oriented with a strong ability to manage everyday challenges in a fast growing startup company, which is one of a kind.

We are a newly established spin-out subsidiary from Blue Ocean Robotics, which is a Robot Venture Factory in Odense, Denmark. Blue Ocean Robotics develop and build mobile service robots within the health, hotel, construction and agriculture sector. For example the disinfection robot UVD Robots and the patient transfer and rehabilitation robot Multi Tower Robot. Blue Ocean Robotics supply all their venture companies, who are selling and supporting the service robots, with high quality robots on-time.
In October 2018 the Danish venture capital fund “Nordic Eye Venture Capital” invested more than €13 million in the international scaling of Blue Ocean Robotics.
In Beam Robots we all want to develop the best and most successful telepresence robots for the global market. We are fast-paced, dynamic and have a flat and flexible organization structure. Responsibilities
- Taking on an account manager role to build and maintain relationships with existing and new beam® customers and resellers.
- Coordinate and execute training sessions, installations, and integrations of beam® telepresence robots at both local and remote locations.
- Provide beam® customer and partner support.
- Perform sales of products, repairs and services to existing and new customers.
- Participate in collecting market insights and demands and communicating these to the knowledge hub within Beam Robots.
- Play an active role in establishing a world-class beam customer success department and service offering.
- Ensure the highest degree of beam® utilization and technology adaptation across all market segments.
Your profile
- Educational background relating to customer relationship management and service
- Amazing interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of technology.
- An interest in robotics and telepresence.
- The ability to facilitate and manage the implementation of telepresence robots for various user cases.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
- The ability to structure and manage many tasks at once.
- Extremely service minded.
- A positive team player.
- Fluent in english, written and spoken.
- Able to contribute in a creative and fast paced environment.
