Leica Geosystems Technology OEM department support Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) in succeeding increased sales based on tailormade integrated GNSS and sensor solutions mounted directly at the factory. OEM department works closely with Manufacturers R&D departments on a worldwide basis developing future solutions and furthermore serve existing OEM customers handling the high requirements from this segment.

Together with the OEM Director and OEM Program Manager you have plenty opportunities to take responsibility and drive your own tasks while being surrounded by colleagues with high ambitions.

Key responsibilities
In the role as OEM Assistant, you work with processes related to OEM customers, OEM documentation, OEM pricing and OEM part numbers. You will be responsible for master data flow related to OEM customers as well as communicating the changes to the customer and internally. Your task will include the following:

  • Work as back office assistant for OEM Director, OEM KAM Managers and OEM Program Manager
  • Manage and communicate to customers regarding change of part numbers (p/n), new p/n, obsolete p/n, provide set up forms, obsolete forms 6 month prior to the change
  • Responsible for improving this communication regarding phase in/out of products and solutions
  • Have horizontal overview of SAP master data related to portfolio of OEM customers
  • Report new products into IMDS database based on specialists´ input
  • Prepare overview for KAM of new prices including discounts based on scope and clusters in SAP
  • Implement all negotiated prices in SAP to secure smooth order handling process
  • Implement procedures for OEM related processes in Quality system
  • Responsible for using OEM´s supplier portals proactively to get score cards, delivery performance etc.

We are looking for a customer focused professional with strong personal impact
We expect you to have a relevant education within export, trade or customer service or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in similar position, preferably within a global company. Aside from this, the following qualities are pivotal:

  • Strong experience with SAP and Business Information Warehouse
  • Fluent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and experience on new technologies to provide excellent OEM customer support
  • Customer focus with strong knowledge and understanding of critical customer and stakeholder needs
  • You speak and write English fluently

Additionally, you have a strong eye for detail and appreciate the importance of being meticulous. With your analytical mind-set and attitude for logical thinking, you lay out compelling arguments for your colleagues across the business and get your point across
