As our new Manager for Global Service you will be responsible for SKOV Global Service processes and tools as well as support to the SKOV regions.
Together with the regional service managers you will secure quality of installations according to SKOV standards and develop the aftermarket business in the regions. This gives an increasing need for aligning and deploying SKOV service procedures throughout our regions. To further develop this, we are looking for an experienced Manager for Global Service at our headquarter in SKOV Denmark.
As a manager you will be responsible for a team of 15 people based at Headquarters in Denmark, who will be in direct reference to you. You will furthermore also have a close cooperation with the regional service managers and their local service engineers.
The tasks of the Global Service Department are:
Ownership and implementation responsibility of the SKOV service standards globally
Helpdesk and 24/7 emergency phone support.
Onsite supervision and support to SKOV regions.
Service in the regions Europe and Oceania/South Africa.
Training of end users, partners, and colleagues.
In your new job you can look forward to a great range of exciting and challenging tasks, where your focus areas will be:
To drive the continued improvement of standard-operating-processes and digital tools in connection to service, installation and commissioning
Define the future digital platform for SKOV Service Manual to enable users to navigate and use the manual as their daily natural tool.
Ensure to utilize SKOV service management system to easily cooperate across regions, in order to utilize resources best possible (Dynamics 365)
Responsible for planning and execution of service tasks within agreed time and budget.
Ensure Knowledge transfer from SKOV Global Service to local service department and partners.
Globally accountable for service representation in R&D projects e.g. requirement settings and implementation test procedures for new equipment.
Responsible for an efficient and competent helpdesk. Secure that all support is handled in due time and create a learning path from previous cases.
In order to be a success in your new job we imagine that you:
Have a relevant technical degree (B.Sc. or similar) within mechanics or electronics.
Speak and write English at negotiation level.
Are an experienced manager and have at least five years of experience from an equivalent job in an international organization.
Have knowledge on technical equipment with high automation level.
Should expect approx. 20-30 travel days per year.
On the personal level you are structured and a systematic individual. Working with a data driven approach and with digital services and IT tools is natural for you. You work independently and you are able to create contacts and long-lasting relationships across organizations and cultures.
