IT Professional for Quality Control
Do you want to play a key role in maintaining and improving the IT systems on analytical equipment in Novo Nordisk? Do you have a strong quality mind-set combined with an ambition of providing support and ensuring that IT systems are complying with Pharma regulations? If the answer to the above questions is yes you could be our new colleague in DFP QC Chemistry in Bagsværd (QCC BA).
About the department
In QC Chemistry we analyse samples from our global supply chain, securing that Novo Nordisk diabetes products are available to patients worldwide. In order to secure product availability, the department has a constant focus on process improvement in order to meet the ever-changing demand. The department consists of two teams with a total of 34 employees.
The position
As IT Professional for Quality Control you will be overall responsible for setting the standard for the handling of IT Systems and IT qualifications within the department as well as securing compliance with internal and external pharma requirements (e.g. Part 11).
Furthermore, you will be responsible for operation and maintenance of several GxP critical laboratory IT systems such as HPLC, AAS, Microscope, Zwick, particular counter etc.
As IT Professional for Quality Control your area of responsibility also include maintaining and creating documentation, ensuring security patching, performing system reviews and providing daily support to your colleagues in the department on various IT issues.
In Novo Nordisk we have begun the journey of digitalizing our QC laboratories e.g. by introducing automated processed and connecting laboratory equipment to LIMS in order to support a paperless future. As our new IT Professional for Quality Control , you will take part in this journey and contribute to identifying robust IT solutions supporting the overall journey.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position you possess knowledge of regulation within IT systems in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with laboratory IT systems. Furthermore, you have experience in supporting, configuring and maintaining such systems. You hold a relevant educational background e.g. Bachelor, Masters or equivalent in engineering/natural science/IT, ideally combined with 3-5 years of relevant working experience in a GMP regulated area.
As a person, you have a structured approach to challenges, you have a strong quality mind-set and you enjoy providing daily support within your area of expertise. You like working together with stakeholders of different professions, and it is natural for you to take lead on key improvement activities, as well as presenting and reporting the progress to management. You are thorough and find it natural to work independently. You are fully proficient in Danish and English.
Knowledge of IT security and networks is a great advantage. Likewise, it is an advantage if you are familiar with empower (the software related to HPLC).
