As Quality Control Manager, DK you develop and maintain procedures for planning, organizing and completing all Quality Control operations within DK Manufacturing. As department head you must drive the improvement journey according to the strategy in accordance with the legislation, the company’s policies set out by Global Quality Assurance team, and in accordance with agreements with the Director of Manufacturing DK.

We are looking for an individual with a strong manufacturing background within beverage manufacturing, with experience in Food Safety & Quality. Knowledge of leading HACCP and chemistry lab management is a must whereas microbiological risk assessment in food industry will be a benefit. Main criteria for our selection are:

The position
As Quality Control Manager, DK you develop and maintain procedures for planning, organizing and completing all Quality Control operations within DK Manufacturing. As department head you must drive the improvement journey according to the strategy in accordance with the legislation, the company’s policies set out by Global Quality Assurance team, and in accordance with agreements with the Director of Manufacturing DK.
Overall accountabilities are:
- Lead the Quality Control team in such a manner that they are motivated, satisfied, loyal and effective team members who are committed to achieve the standards and the goals of the department and of the broader organization
- Ensure that the function area is procedurally defined according to the roles and responsibility matrix agreed with Global Quality Assurance
- Ensure that the functional area has the tools, facilities and resources required to solve the area’s tasks in a systematically and adequately documented way
- Make sure that Quality Control of both raw materials and finished goods is timely, sufficient and supports the company’s strategies
- Ensure compliance with the agreed upon procedures for planning, organizing and completing all Quality Control Systems within DK Manufacturing
The profile
We are looking for an individual with a strong manufacturing background within beverage manufacturing, with experience in Food Safety & Quality. Knowledge of leading HACCP and chemistry lab management is a must whereas microbiological risk assessment in food industry will be a benefit. Main criteria for our selection are:
- Educated to minimum bachelor’s degree level in biology, biochemistry, or other health and science fields, Masters preferred.
- 5-10 years of quality control experience in a similar position
- Analytical and effective
- Fluent in Danish and English both written and oral
- Have team understanding, collaborative skills and empathy with 3 years of people management experience minimum
- You are trustworthy and accountable
- You have excellent skills for documentation/record keeping and knowledge of Microsoft D365 would be beneficial.
