On behalf of Watson-Marlow Flexicon Group, based in Ringsted, we offer you a position as Quality Manager of aseptic filling systems for the pharma- and biotechnical industries. Together with a small team, you will cover all aspects of quality assurance and achievement of product quality.

Since 1986, the company has been the market leader in the development and manufacture of customer-specific solutions for aseptic filling and encapsulation for the pharmaceutical and biotechnical industries.

Watson-Marlow Flexicon’s 60 competent and committed employees in Ringsted strive daily to deliver high-end high-quality solutions to customers all over the world (export share 95%+). The target group is laboratory productions and small to medium-sized batch productions that require flexibility, efficiency, and very high precision in a sterile environment.

Watson-Marlow Flexicon offers its customers worldwide a wide range of process solutions from stand-alone devices to manual filling over semi-automatic systems to fully automatic filling and capsulating machines to highly regulated industries where strong documentation and traceability are paramount.

Your role


Based in our facility in Ringsted, your role will be to cover all aspects of quality assurance and achievement of product quality. You will be the driver of the continual improvement and auditing of the Quality Management System to ensure continuing regulatory and customer compliance.

In a matrix organization you will refer to the Site Manager and be part of the global quality management team within Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG), which is headed by the Global Quality Manager.

Your primary tasks will be:

  • Ensure a continual implementation and improvement of the Quality Management System and education of users in quality processes and procedures.
  • Make sure the internal product audits are conducted and completed within schedules.
  • Originate and prepare documentation to ensure compliance with applicable requirements and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with key personnel at the customers through prompt responses and customer concerns.
  • Investigate relevant customer complaints concerning the product quality, including reporting, and arranging corrective and preventive action where necessary.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction to provide opportunities for universal improvement.
  • Ensure effective use and maintenance of core documentation.
  • Management of 1-2 team members and annual appraisal.

Your background and competences


We expect you to have some years of experience from quality assurance and have a strong QA mindset. Ideally from the pharma or biotechnology industry, but it could also be from another regulated industry like healthcare, cosmetics, or food/beverages.

The right candidate for the job is also expected to have:

  • Knowledge of GMP and ISO standards.
  • Experience in facilitating and managing quality audits, including "audit host" experience.
  • Ability to handle quality complaints and maintain good customer relations.
  • A data driven approach.
  • Fluency in Danish and English – spoken and written.

Furthermore, you are expected to have experience with validation and qualification. Risk management experience will be an extra asset.
