Then we might have the right job opportunity for you, as we are looking for a Test and Validation Engineer to join the Novo Nordisk Device R&D organisation.
About the department
Novo Nordisk Device R&D has a long and outstanding track record of developing the best, most innovative and widely used injection devices in the world. In our department, Experiments & Design Verification, we play an important role in the device development process, as we are responsible for specifying, developing, purchasing, and validating new test equipment to support verification of medical devices. We collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, and we strive for excellence in everything we do. If you join our team, you will get 23 passionate colleagues with different backgrounds, including laboratory technicians, engineers and specialists.
The position
As our new Test and Validation Engineer, your main task will be to support development projects by scouting and acquire the right equipment and developing test methods. This includes validation of test equipment, development and validation of methods, participate in test execution and measurement processes as well as develop testing competences to improve device development. You will write, correct and review the work instruction and take ownership in change requests. You will also be responsible for maintaining the validated state of the equipment.
You will use your interpersonal skills to challenge status quo while focusing on solutions and opportunities. We expect you to participate in the ongoing efforts to further develop our methodology within test methods, test procedures, training, and validation of equipment and that you will contribute to a continuous high professional passion and engagement within the team.
Qualifications
Your hold an academic degree within Engineering (e.g. mechanical, biomedical or similar). We imagine that you have around 5 years of work experience within medical device development and/or with design control processes for medical devices, where you have acquired knowledge of test standards, equipment and/or method validations and how to navigate in a GMP-regulated environment.
You care for details in your work without losing your general view, and you have strong analytical skills. Moreover, you have a strong command of English allowing you to prepare documentation in a fluent technical language.
As a person, you are known for your open attitude and for taking a proactive approach to challenges. You bring a good sense of humour to work even when the pressure is on, and you have a track record of successful collaboration towards realising shared objectives.
