Your new role
As our new Quality Manager in SCQM you will be responsible for Quality Management activities in your own project portfolio within an assigned business area. The Quality Management activities include active participation in and ensuring quality requirement compliance from proposal and contract reviews, through project development and delivery to the customer. You will furthermore be performing audits throughout the organization.

Secondarily, you will take active part in and drive cross-functional business and quality process improvement projects in close corporation with Senior Director, Quality Assurance.

Your success in this role highly depends on your ability to manage stakeholders by means of communication and negotiation, and how you handle change requests throughout the project planning and execution phases.

By being visible and following up on performance, you create understanding for and commitment to Terma’s quality processes. This is further supported by your ability to foresee risks and address uncertainties, and by handling the associated mitigating and corrective actions in time.

Your experience and background
Required:

• You are experienced within the field of Product Development, including proper understanding of the interaction between mechanical, hardware and software components
• You hold a MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering or similar relevant education
• You have strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• You have an inspirational project leadership style, powerful business acumen, and deep quality awareness
• You are fluent in written and spoken English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office package

Desirable:

• Experienced in performing well documented audits (project and process audits)
• Experience in Quality Assurance process definition, implementation, monitoring and control

You as a person

• Stakeholder Management and communication are some of your main skills - you are good at communicating with colleagues, a skilled relationship builder, and able to navigate in a complex stakeholder landscape
• You are self-driven, result-oriented, and not afraid of taking a stand, always acting with a high level of integrity
• You are well-structured and able to solve complex problems without compromising quality
• You have an out-going personality and are able to apply your social skills and empathy to create meaningful partnerships
