About the department
In department 414 we perform quality control on Hormone replacement therapy, oral diabetes products and products used for treatment of growth hormone deficiency. We are responsible for both microbiological, chemical and technical analysis e.g. HPLC, dissolution, TYMC, TAMC, test for specific microorganisms, device tests and FTA. We do tests on the finished tablets, IPC samples, stability samples, excipients and environmental samples. The department consist of 30 highly dedicated employees.
The Position
You will be responsible for chemical or microbiological analytical methods including checking and approving analytical results. You will be handling deviations and change requests. In addition you will have responsibility for laboratory investigations and related corrective and preventive actions.
You will prepare protocols and reports for projects, analysis updates and other tasks that are of significance to laboratory operation.
Furthermore you will be planning and performing various activities to ensure and improve quality and flow of analyses within the department. You will also need to ensure that work is performed to a high professional level and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations relating to quality and safety, while using the department's resources efficiently.
Above all you need to have a strong collaboration with your colleagues and the department's customers to ensure that high standards of quality and service are maintained.
This is a temporary position for 2 years.
Qualifications
Higher science-based education (e.g. Cand. Scient (Master of Science), Cand. Pharm (MPharm), MSc, BSc)
Preferably:
•Experience within quality control and microbiological or chemical analytical methods
•Validation of quality control analytical methods
•Chemist-related tasks in accordance with the GMP and/or ISO quality systems
•Experience of LEAN
•Chemists must be familiar with computer work, including Windows 2000, Office package, LIMS
