Quality in everything we do

Quality is the backbone of the SKOV business, and at SKOV, everybody is responsible for quality. However, we are now recruiting a successor to our Quality Manager at the headquarters in Glyngøre, Denmark, who will be responsible to the CEO. "SKOV is an acknowledged supplier of high-quality products. We must live up to the expectation globally", Leo Østergaard, CEO, explains.

As a Quality Manager, you will be accountable for updating and further developing our current quality system (ISO 9001, ATEX/IECEx and being part of the implementation of 27001). We expect you to take the lead and manage the processes based on your experience within quality systems. You will be heading the alignment and communication internally to the many stakeholders supported by colleagues and leaders from the different departments at SKOV.

The primary job function of the Quality Manager is to:

  • Initiate, decide, and execute valuable changes to the current systems and processes.
  • Participate in internal quality boards to guide and manage the overall quality of products and processes.
  • Analyze and prepare cases for presentation to the management team to support the strategic vision.
  • Empower and support leaders and specialists in project management of product and process quality.
  • Be accountable for overall quality standards and the communication and training internally.
  • To focus on daily quality awareness and improvement of standards via quality operators.
  • Execute the correct actions to move forward and be at the forefront of SKOV quality toward customer satisfaction.

As our new Quality Manager, you will be the person to guarantee that our products, services, and processes continuously develop and improve, seen from the quality aspects of the business.

Your profile:

  • You have a relevant technical background (B.Sc., or similar).
  • You have 5-7 years of experience from a similar job, preferably in a production and/or development environment.
  • You have an internal quality auditors' certificate, and you are a specialist in quality processes and claims handling.
  • You work independently, and you are good at creating contacts and long-lasting relationships across organizations and cultures.
  • You are a proficient communicator and speak and write fluent English and Danish.
  • You enjoy working with change management and have an open mindset.
  • You have a well-structured, analytical approach that helps you manage tasks and make decisions.
