About the department
NPI (New Product Introduction) Products is a part of Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) Manufacturing Development. Our main focus is to secure a smooth transition of new products entering our production sites, as well as provide process and technical support to the ongoing insulin production. In this position you will be part of a team of experienced laboratory technicians as well as professionals responsible for a number of different tasks supporting the overall process of bringing new products to the market.

The position
The open position is within the area of compatibility and insulin pump studies, which is handled by a group of six persons, three laboratory technicians and three professionals. The overall purpose of the tasks handled by the group is to secure that material which is in contact with Novo Nordisk insulin products does not affect the patient safety or the product stability.

Your primary tasks will be divided between practical tasks in the laboratory and desk work.

Examples of the tasks conducted in the laboratory include:

  • Simulation of in-use studies of insulin pumps, in order to document compatibility between the pump and our products, including handling of insulin pumps during the study, withdrawing samples and sending them to analyses.
  • Compatibility studies where the goal is to document compatibility between a given material and our products.
  • Handling ongoing stability studies, securing samples are withdrawn from the storage area and sent to analysis timely.

Examples of the desk work associated with the position includes handling various samples in Global LIMS, conducting data review on protocols and reports and supporting the task of trending stability studies results.

Qualifications
Preferably the candidate have an educational background as Laboratory Technician or similar and a minimum of 2 years of working experience in the pharmaceutical industry as well as experience with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) In addition you are confident communicating both in Danish and English orally as well as in writing. Experience within the IT systems used in Novo Nordisk is considered an advantage but not a requirement

Personally, you should be able to work independently, handle several tasks simultaneously and possess the ability to prioritise among ongoing tasks. Furthermore, a positive mind-set, and excellent interpersonal skills allowing you to build relations to both colleagues and stakeholders are required.
