About the department

LABs is a part of Manufacturing IT in Global IT. In LABs you will be part of a highly engaged department working with IT systems for Product Supply, developing and improving systems which are core to the laboratory processes in Novo Nordisk. You will be participating in the operation, maintenance and development of a global GxP critical IT system, including system corrections and releases. You will be working with a team of colleagues both in DK and India, and you will have ample opportunity for professional sparring and best practice exchanges in your daily work. Furthermore, LABs is involved in projects with Product Supply, working closely together to ensure that business processes are adequately supported by IT systems as well as supporting Novo Nordisk on the QC 4.0 journey towards paperless labs.

The job
The job entails a broad range of system activities such as, but not limited to: responsibility for the delivery of world-class system improvement and new functionalities ensuring that they meet business requirements. You will be working in close collaboration with our Indian organization, participate in work related to system corrections and upgrades as product owner, driving system development activities in agile delivery teams, evaluate and recommend on usage of globalLIMS. You will also participate in implementation and rollout of globalLIMS on new sites across all of Novo Nordisk globally. The job also entails training in IT system functionality and related Lab processes such as instrument connectivity of Empower and other lab equipment for new sites as well as existing sites, including preparation and update of training material on globalLIMS to users worldwide.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate is an experienced globalLIMS user in Novo Nordisk and has a proven track record with at least 2-5 years of experience with Laboratory Information Management systems (LIMS) within the QC lab area, primarily the LabVantage software in large global organisations and project management from the pharmaceutical (or other relevant) industry. Preferably with in-depth knowledge of laboratory processes with focus on LIMS within pharmaceutical production. You have solid experience with IT or IT project work covering specification, design, development or implementation of IT solutions.

You are service-minded, your structured way of working and general overview enables you to handle several tasks at a time and still keep an ongoing focus on results. Being open minded and positive, you are a natural relation-builder to people across all organisational levels, geography and cultural differences. You have the ability and feel confident to collaborate and communicate with external parties, primarily with customers, vendors and consultants. You have experience with providing training in IT systems, including preparation and update of training material, e-learnings and user manuals.

To succeed it is also crucial that you thrive on working independently as well as part of a team. You need to be fully proficient in English both written as spoken and a solid communicator with a strong personal dedication and ambition. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take initiative. In addition, you must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility and drive success.
