Are you a dedicated laboratory technician with an interest in assembly and tests of medical devices? Do you enjoy working both practically by sampling and testing in our Device Laboratory and theoretically with documentation in English? And do you want to become part of the important effort to ensure that people living with chronic diseases can always count on Novo Nordisk products to be safe and effective?

Then you might be our new colleague in Device Research and Development (DRD) in Hillerød.

About the Department
DRD is an area within our Global R&D organisation. We are responsible for the development of medical devices for self-treatment.

This position is in our Experiments and Design Verification department consisting of 16 motivated and competent colleagues. In the team, we are laboratory technicians as well as professionals working closely together with projects in Research & Development, sampling and testing new medical device products for Novo Nordisk A/S.

The position
Together with your team, you will be handling assembly, explorative testing and design verification of our drug delivery systems. Correct assembly and thorough testing are crucial for reliable products and efficient device development projects.

Your work day will be divided between practical tasks in the laboratory and desk work.

Examples of the tasks conducted in the laboratory include:

  • Assembly of devices for design verification tests, functional tests and usability studies
  • Ordering of components
  • Planning, execution and reporting of laboratory tests at exploratory as well as at GXP level
    • Tests performed in the laboratory are among others; dosage accuracy, dose force and tests of mechanical and physical properties of various electronic components and devices

  • Operation and maintenance of test equipment and laboratories


Examples of the desk work associated with the position include:

  • Conducting data review
  • Securing stock management of materials and components
  • Documentation of test data at correct level
  • Supporting the task of writing protocols and reports

Qualifications
We expect you to be a laboratory technician or have a similar educational background that has enabled you to build experience within testing of mechanical and electronic devices. You have worked with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) processes before, in a regulated environment.

We are looking for a skilled laboratory technician, who has the following qualities:

  • Very accurate, structured and flexible
  • Not too proud to share mistakes and questions own work
  • Good at taking own initiatives and see what needs to be done
  • A positive mindset towards work tasks and colleagues
  • Good at working independently and reporting back relevant information to the team


We expect you to be fluent in both Danish and English, both verbally and in writing.
