Are you a dedicated laboratory technician or laboratory tester with an interest in tests of medical devices? Do you enjoy working both practically by testing in our Device Verification Laboratory and theoretically with writing protocols and reports in English? And do you want to become part of the important effort to ensure that people living with chronical diseases can always count on Novo Nordisk products to be safe and effective?

Then you might be our new colleague in Device Manufacturing Development (DMD) in Hillerød.

This is a temporary position for 12 months.

About the department

Pilot Operations is part of Device Manufacturing Development (DMD), where we develop and test new products before they are introduced to the market. Our work is related to both production and testing of Novo Nordisk’s line of innovative pen dosage systems.

You will join a team of 14 laboratory technicians. We operate in a diverse landscape of stakeholders, balancing many concerns in a complex, international business environment, and we never compromise on the quality of our work. We share an informal tone, great work morale and tall ambitions to be the best at what we do.

The position

Together with your team, you will be handling Device Verification Testing and Quality Control processes for new and existing products, Off-Line Process Control and Customers Complaints investigations. You will mainly be working in our Device Verification Laboratory performing different tests like; dosage accuracy, dose force and tests of mechanical and physical properties of various electronic components and devices. When you have performed the testing according to protocol and ISO standards.

We work with a range of advanced test equipment, and here you will have the opportunity to build your knowledge about state-of-the art test technology like cobots, as we strive to be ahead of regulative standards and build our position in a growing market.

You will be sharpening your collaborative and communication skills when you work with colleagues across and beyond a diverse organisation. You will be introduced to our processes and structures in a thorough on-boarding process, where you will learn everything you need to know about Novo Nordisk to succeed in your new position.

Qualifications

We expect you to be a laboratory technician/tester or have a similar educational background that has enabled you to build experience within testing of mechanical and electronic devices. You have worked with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) processes before, in a regulated production environment.

You like to collaborate around exciting challenges, with a sense of urgency and strict quality standards. We expect you to be structured in your work, actively seek out the knowledge you need and work with a high level of responsibility. You can care for details without missing a deadline, and you take pride in the quality of your work.

We expect you to be fluent in both Danish and English, both verbally and in writing.
