The Department of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen is offering a position for a motivated laboratory technician/Biomedical Laboratory Scientist, within the newly formed Molecular Metabolism in Cancer and Ageing Group of Associate Professor Lykke Sylow, full-time and scheduled to start 1 August 2021.

About us

The Department of Biomedical Sciences focuses on basic research from a clinical perspective to improve diagnostics and patient therapies. Our research in the Molecular Metabolism in Cancer and Ageing Group focuses on delineating the molecular causes of muscle wasting and metabolic dysfunctions in skeletal muscle. We are inspired by how these defects can be restored by exercise training and we strive to determine the cellular events mediating these benefits in cancer, ageing, and diabetes.
