About the Opportunity

Join Sanofi General Medicines (GenMed) Denmark as Medical Advisor Diabetes. In this role you will provide value to patients and HCPs through medical and scientific expertise for the GenMed GBU and develop and maintain relationships within the GenMed therapy area experts and relevant stakeholders.

About the Business Unit – General Medicines

Our General Medicines business includes various areas that are of great importance globally and in our region in terms of the growing number of patients and the wide range of products sold.

In addition to the development and introduction of innovative, new drugs, Sanofi's strength is the wide range of well-established, well-known, and trusted medicines, some of which are still answer unique medical needs. Our broad portfolio provides therapeutic solutions in primary care, cardiology, nephrology, neurology, orthopedics, traumatology, internal medicine, gynecology and many more areas.

The primary responsibility of the General Medicines team is to ensure safe and high-quality drug provision to patients treated in these therapeutic areas.

About growing with us

In this role you will….

  • Identify, develop and maintain collaboration with current and future KOLs within the therapeutic area (TA). Identify and interact with other local opinion leaders and HCPs to drive value for the product portfolio and when relevant guide them on the rational use of our products
  • Be responsible for coordinating the scientific part of local advisory boards, projects and other relevant activities with the HCPs. Keep up-to-date with the relevant clinical activities and support and facilitate desired clinical trials in cooperation with CSU Medical
  • Conduct medical education to serve the external needs (specialist, nurses, GPs etc.)
  • Check external promotional material for medical and scientific accuracy. Participate in relevant congresses, symposia and other scientific meetings and provide feedback to the organization
  • Provide support for the Market Access department process in medical/scientific matters. Participate in budgeting and strategy planning in the scope of the area
  • Implement actions in the therapeutic area as planned in the strategy and business plan with focus on the generated impact
  • Ensure to be updated on the latest scientific information concerning PC TA. Ensure that all activities and interactions comply with Sanofi business GxP quality documents

About you

Qualifications/ Education & work experience

  • University degree in medicine, pharmacy, pharmacology, biomedicine or relevant experience in a similar function
  • Therapeutic Area experience either form the studies/ research ideally in pharma. Knowledge and experience in Diabetes represents an asset
  • Track record in working with HCPs, build a long term relationship with external and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to use scientific and clinical knowledge to strategy regarding evidence needs for stakeholder including patients
  • Experience in working in a complex matrix organization
  • Team spirit, analytics, leadership and influence skills
  • Oral and written fluency in Danish and English
