About the Opportunity
A new interesting opportunity has become available within the Oncology Medical Team North Europe team for a Medical Advisor Oncology role. In this role you will be accountable for providing medical and scientific (non-promotional) expertise and service for the Sanofi Genzyme oncology therapy area team, and to develop and maintain relationships with oncology experts and other relevant stakeholders. You will support with the upcoming Oncology product launches in Denmark and build long lasting relationships with local Health Care Professionals (HCPs).

About growing with us
In this role you will….
- Communicate, collaborate and influence with excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills, both internally and externally – especially in communication with medical authorities, hospitals, physicians/specialists, KOLs and pharmacists within oncology.
- Identify and interact with other local opinion leaders and HCPs to help generate understanding of oncology portfolio and when relevant guide them on the optimal use of our products.
- Lead local advisory boards, scientific projects and other relevant activities with the HCPs.
- Develop scientific communication and education initiatives using scientific/medical expertise, customer insights and understanding of launch strategy.
- Conduct medical trainings adapted to internal (employee education) as well as external needs (doctors, other specialists etc.).
- Participate in relevant congresses, symposia and other meetings and provide feedback to the rest of the organization.
- Provide support for the Market Access process in medical/scientific matters.
- Be of assistance to the pharmacovigilance, regulatory and other relevant functions regarding medical questions related to oncology.
- Participate in budgeting and strategy planning in the scope of the area.
- Work closely with and support marketing and sales both strategically and at an operational level.
- Liaise with medical colleges within the whole Nordic & North Europe clusters, by sharing best practice and knowledge.
- Analyse information and emerging trends, including social, policy and access-related information concerning oncology, and incorporate them into medical plans.
- Keep up to date, support and facilitate desired clinical studies, including local Investigator Initiated Studies
- Support Specialty Care Country Medical Head in oncology-related scientific/medical matters when applicable.
About you
Qualifications/ Education & work experience
- MD, Master’s degree or PhD in relevant life sciences/healthcare-related education
- Expertise within any medical sub-specialty (research/scientific expertise)
- Prior oncology or hemato-oncologytherapy area experience, either from the clinic, research and/or from the pharma industry (preferred)
- Previous product launch experience with successful relationship building skills (preferred)
- Previous experience in leading advisory boards and other cooperation with relevant HCPs (preferred)
- Experience from working in cross-functional teams in an international environment
- Oral and written fluency in English & Danish
