Medical Advisor/Omni-Channel Lead


About the job

sanofi is seeking a Medical Advisor/Omni-Channel Lead in Denmark. You will be responsible to provide value to patients and HCPs through medical and scientific expertise for the GenMed GBU and to develop digital content within the GenMed therapy areas, which is mainly diabetes and cardiovascular. You will provide omnichannel engagement plans for different persona’s and maintain relationship within the GenMed therapy area experts and relevant stakeholders.

This is a permanent role with some travel expected. It is a combination of office and field based work.

Main responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop and maintain collaboration with current and future KOLs within the therapeutic areas (TA)
  • Identify and interact with other local opinion leaders, DOLs and HCPs to drive value for the product portfolio, including educational content generation and when relevant guide them on the rational use of sanofi products
  • Conduct and support medical education activities and content creation, to serve the external needs (specialists, nurses, GPs etc.), thinking digital first
  • Participate in relevant congresses, symposia and other scientific meetings, with the aim to generate educational content for internal and external purposes
  • Implement actions in the therapeutic area as planned in the strategy and business plan with focus on the generated impact and in close collaboration with the local customer engagement teams, focusing on omni-channel communication and develop journeys for customers
  • Participate in budgeting and strategy planning in the scope of the area, with a focus on omni-channel communication
  • Ensure to be updated on the latest scientific information concerning General Medicines
  • Coordinating scientific part of local advisory boards, projects and other relevant activities with the HCPs
  • Keeping up-to-date with the relevant clinical activities and support and facilitate desired clinical trials in cooperation with CSU Medical as needed
  • Provide support for Market Access process in medical/scientific matters related to the TAs

About you

We are looking for the right person. The right person may or may not fulfill all following criteria. These are listed to help you to understand some key factors to effectively succeed in this role.

  • University degree in medicine, pharmacy, pharmacology, biomedicine or similar
  • Excellent command of English and Danish as well as good IT skills
  • Preferably diabetes and cardiovascular experience either from studies/research and/or from the pharma industry with relevant customer knowledge
  • Skills in communicating science and education through digital channels
  • Experience in working in a cross-functional team in an international environment
  • Ability to develop scientific communication and education initiatives using scientific/medical expertise, customer insights and understanding of customers needs, focusing on a digital omni-channel journey
  • Self-dependent and structured working style, yet able to work in a team
  • communicate, collaborate and influence with excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills, both internally and externally
